In limitation's cultured cell,
there dwells a fettered, gridlocked hell;
negating what is probable--
and turn it to impossible.
We build a fortress with strong walls
in triumph's gaudy trophied halls;
surround ourselves with concepts gained,
and yet our dreams are soiled and stained.
We stand behind this fail-safe glass,
we let those visions surely pass;
entombed in precept's cloistered safe,
enraptured by deception's waif.
Securing treasures -- building dams,
we should be grasping truth like lambs.
All empires built will one day fall,
but all will fail when darkness calls.
I tell you heaven welcomes those,
bereft of pride -- contrite repose;
With faith that God can find a way
expanding dreams... all fears allay.

Author Notes
Because our concepts revolve around beginnings and endings, a never ending space is beyond our comprehension, if we think there is an end, we have a never ending wall.
We all limit ourselves by our perceptions. Now this is what Jesus says.
Mark 11:34 "Truly I say to you, if anyone says to this mountain, "Go throw yourself into the sea," and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them."
