War, not in my name!
The murder of innocents
isn't a game..
You drop your bombs
with intent to kill,
but it's always the children
who will suffer and still-
as they're left to lie and to die
in the rubble, covered in blood,
drowning in the claret, as it morphs
the earth into mud,
your battle cry is "we'll set you free,
now you'll know REAL democracy".
But, the goal you seek is oil, gas or riches
which leave the innocents dying-
in bloody, rancid ditches.
Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq,
every one of these lands
made to bend and crack, while
you decimate, exterminate, annihilate
the people in their homes,
as you fill their worlds with hate.
War, never in my name!
all governments, step forward,
accept your blame.
