IMPENDING DOOM
I smell time
wafting swiftly,
pungent sky hangs
lingering far longer,
as the mass decays
inside the brainless box
of distorted views
fancy worms now gild
cities and villages
as humans shift,
learning the art
of twisted beliefs,
where dishonesty
becomes a commodity
preferred by many
a nation sinks deeper
as the frenzies of youth
and barbaric tendencies of men
are pursued relentlessly
by a godless society
I cry in despair
in the crooked face
of their false creed
yet my voice is dry
silenced by the mob,
willingly drinking
from the devil's brew
and as all bathe in hate
humanity drowns deeper
down in the lake of doom
tears will no longer fall
as all creations die
till mankind is here
no more....
