Horse and mule talked about their rider
Mule always had something to say
Horse felt like an outsider
Because mule was with rider all day
Horse said, I stand tall I am superior
Rider should be with me
Mule said, before I feel inferior
I'll bring you to your knee
Rider loved them both
No difference did he show
It was his solemn oath
This they should know
Soon their eyes were opened
Rider fell dead, landed on his back
Their bond is now broken
Because of the love they lacked
