It's not like I would ever say How you should live your life I do think that one good way Is you could spend it as my wife Right now I know you wonder What your future may be like Much like a clap of thunder Change comes as a lightning strike When we met you were not impressed I could see it in your eyes Overwhelmed, truth I confessed Too afraid to give you lies My feelings were there for your review I did not hide any part Anticipating what you might do I tried to calm my racing heart We grew close as time sped past You are all my heart desires I pray that I will be your last My life your love inspires You've said yes and we'll soon wed I'm happier than I have ever been You'll be my wife, sharing my bed I can hardly wait till then.
