attendant on flight 1286,
Denver to San Francisco,
pretty in a non-descript
type of way. African-American,
average build and height, black
shoulder length hair or more,
pretty pink lip-sticked lips.
Nothing to make me take
notice, except her attitude.
Offering beverages as she pushed
the cart down the narrow
cabin aisle acting
like she didn't sign up for this
part of the job.
And when we departed
the plane, with not a bit of serenity,
she sneered, "have a good day," as she
had been told to do.
