Sherman and Sheeba both lived in the vent
of the kitchen in back of Al's diner.
Now Al wasn't known for his classic cuisine
but for two mice, it couldn't be finer.
Sherman would wait for Al's" Friday Delight"
and bring it to Sheeba on ice.
Margaritas happened to be her sweet vice
and the sips from the glass tasted nice.
On Saturdays, Al really did himself proud
and two mice from Brooklyn were thrilled.
It was wine and cheese night at the diner
and the repast delightful and chilled.
Now Sheeba loved finishing leftover wine.
Sweet Sherman kept track of her drinks.
But, after awhile all that cheese slowed him down
and Sherman then caught forty winks.
Now, those sips from the glasses kept coming.
Dear Sheeba was feeling all right
with Sherman passed out on the brie and aged swiss
little Sheeba was up for a fight.
So she figured she'd join Al's big party;
There was dancing and fun to be had.
She saw Anna Belinda's big curling hair
and thought it a great landing pad.
So skipping and tripping from Pinot to Blanc
She ran to the crowded bar
and shinnied up the jean-clad leg of Anna
To the golden curls pinned up so far.
Anna Belinda's screams echoed for miles
and woke Sherman nose-down on provolone.
Sheeba was launched like a missile
and she hit the ground wrung like a cell phone.
There was a lesson learned by a drunk little mouse.
Poor Anna Belinda stroked out!
If Sherman and Sheeba had plans for the night
It's chocolate milk from now on...no doubt.
