Holding out their little hands
the twins asked for a treat.
Mama shook her head then said,
"Not until you eat."
Two little boys crossed their arms,
tears began to pour.
Quickly bottom lips popped out,
feet stomping on the floor.
Temptation took control of them;
they devised a plan.
Korbin looked at Gage and said,
"Listen to me, man!"
"We'll get our plates; set on the couch,
when mama is not looking."
"Beneath the cushions we will stuff
what mama has been cooking."
"All done now" The twins did say
both up on their feet.
Extending out their little hands,
asking for that treat.
Rewarded for a job well done
the twins ran off to play.
"BOYS!" They heard their mama cry,
"Bring youselves this way!"
Two little hearts now broken,
sitting in their room.
Korbin smiled at Gage and said,
"Candy is our doom!"
