grandma dies alone, suffering

husband is cruel, beats wife twice a week
to keep her in line
children watch in fear
helpless
they all suffer
husband drinks too much alcohol
loses job and wrecks car
loses family house
entire family suffers
human suffering
domino effect
worldwide, everywhere
one person begins chain of events
