You stood there with that look upon your face,
You knew that what you did was a disgrace.
Revenge is what you took although you knew,
He wouldn't ever think of hurting you.
Is it not wrong of you to still deny,
That what you hoped was true was just a lie?
The seed of doubt you planted in her mind,
Was from your jealousy and eyes so blind.
The pain that scourges well his fragile soul,
Is waiting now for you to make him whole.
He has been lost in darkness for too long,
It's up to you to take away this wrong.
You told his love that he loved only you,
And broke her heart just like you wanted to.
She went away without saying a word,
But whispers on the wind is how he heard.
I ask you now is truth what you will give?
Because if it's not, he'll never forgive.

Author Notes
Not my usual, don't even know where it came from. This sad, wet and dismal illustration by Dodjerr is so perfect for my poem,
