A life time of resistance
feeling alone in the dark
Living a bipolar existence
searching for a magical spark
Trying to heal through medication
covering up the pain
Discovering new hope through meditation
life seems worth living again
Acknowledging negative emotions
putting them in their place
Learning to relax with daily devotions
embracing darkness with true efface
Learning to live in the moment
not letting the brain control
Trading the past for present
Reuniting with the depths of my soul
A life filled with gratitude
new found happiness, rejoining the light
A changing of perceptions and attitude
each new day, success is within my sight
