The poem consists of an unspecified number of quatrains of 7 syllable lines. The rhyme scheme is AAbb ccAA ddCC eeDD ffEE. The uppercase letters denote which lines are repeated, so that the first two lines of one stanza become the last two lines of the next stanza. In this poem I have modified that repetition in stanza three.
