When sweet emotions fill the heart And love's warmth fills your soul I bet it was a cute hug bug That made your heart bell toll This little insect is released By one who really cares It knows the path of the intent And hugs it's meant to bear Through snow and rain it will proceed It will not stop nor rest Until it can embrace the one The one whom love has blessed If on this special day of days The "Hug Bug" comes your way Don't shoo him off because he brings A gift of grand squeeze play Recognized Author Notes Welcome to my first poem of 2013.
