Like magic in my minds eye
I never question why
Destiny has given me this gift
I let my mind wander and drift
An ancient large piano out of tune
Rowdy children banging it in June
Caring women in the kitchen talking about faith
Aunt Annette is the eighth
Men folk outside under the trees
Bar-b-que and bees
Sharing a laugh, jokes being told
Memories are like gold
A moment from my family long ago
So much like a fine bordeaux
Made only finer with age
All for me to enjoy, turn the page
