What Color's Your State

Some States are blue
and some States are red.
What difference does it make
when some kids aren't fed.
The blues say tax
The reds say slash.
I get so confused
I clench and I gnash.
The blues make me sick
and the reds make me gag.
I guess that's the end
of this little rag.
