When God sends signals He's still here
at work among the world He made,
some see Him in a burning bush --
I see Him in a young girl's braid.
The Mississippi and the Nile
rage toward the sea fueled by God's power,
but they're no more magnificent
than ivy twined in garden's bower.
Vast coral reefs and Ayer's Rock,
The Cliffs of Dover, Angel Falls,
such wonders people flock to see --
one gliding hawk my heart enthralls.
I've seen God in my sister's face,
I've heard Him in my daughter's laugh.
Perhaps today I'll feel His love
from daffodils that line my path.

Uluru is the name Ayers Rock has long been called by the Aboriginal people of that section of Australia and is the name now recognized by Australia also. I thank Louise, my Aussie friend, for this information.
