Blow harsh, oh biting, wintry winds,
Let mighty oaks crash to the ground.
If Aeolus his pow'r rescinds,
Zephyr's breezes still surround.
Zealous be your cold ambition
As breath expels each chilling blast.
Reach from Olympus - our submission -
Death holds us in your icy grasp.

Author Notes
A major snow storm is predicted for tomorrow afternoon into Saturday. I'm tired of wishing and hoping the snow will not arrive, so I figured I'd just dare the damn winds to blow even more snow our way. The gods are restless and who am I to try to ward them off? LOL
Aeolus was the ruler of winds in Greek mythology.
Zephyr was the god of the west wind. Zephyr winds are much milder breezes, kind of the second string for when the harsher winds need a break. :-)
Mount Olympus is where the gods resided.
