When golden lava touches night
Before the twilight hues
The embers seem to light the sky
And thus ignite the view
Resplendent is the majesty
That briefly will prevail
Bestowed within a dying gasp
That brightens nighttime's veil
The molten fire before dark
Will trickle down to nil
But while the cloudy flames are there
Eyes treasure every mil
