where bumblebees sip on nectar sweet,
and wondered which creatures you haven't seen,
whose faces would make the picture complete?
When hummingbirds hover over the vine
as morning glories unfurl at dawn,
is someone else sharing the flowers' wine
and singing along with their gamboling song?
As a snail slowly dawdles down the path,

do they have tiny playmates? They won't tell!
