You know, you felt that we
would be together one day.
But you always held me at
arms length, being afraid.
It is obvious that we have
a part of each other's heart.
What a beautiful gift for that
other, a fine way to make a start.
Think about it. We care so much
about each other's precious life.
Coyly we make sure the other is
fine and try to lessen, felt strife.
There is no reason to fear me or
brood over mindless worries.
If friends is the best term, then
