The mass of grief holds no weight.
Yet a ghost is heavier than the headstone.
Visitors come to commiserate.
In hopes not to feel so alone.
The volume of pain holds no depth.
But the regret is deeper than the grave.
Although many a tear was wept.
We will not become its slave.
The length of time is longer than the river.
However, the clock is faster than the flow.
All that waiting for the universe to deliver.
For thoughts we will never know.
