Spines erect, heads inclined, our lower   bodies press as legs glide over    the floor. We rise and fall in   three-four time, twirling with   grace, in formal hold,   paying homage   to waves of   Danube   blue. Writing Prompt Write a nonet poem. It's a simple format. A nonet has nine lines. The first line has nine syllables, the second line eight syllables, the third line seven syllables, etc... until line nine that finishes with just one syllable. It can be on any subject and rhyming is optional. Author Notes A beautiful, elegant, sensual dance if you can do it properly. Which, unfortunately, I can*t.
