In the rockets red glare, Bombs bursting in air, Gazan children perish. Are there none we cherish?   By the dawns early light Comes shame, proof of the night. Families blown apart. Victims of a cold golem heart.   Don't say you cannot see In to the land of the unfree. So loudly they hailed Humanity has failed.   Oh say, does that blue lone star banner now wave O'er the landstrip of the unfree Home of the mass grave?     Recognized Author Notes A golem is a creature formed out of a lifeless substance such as dust or earth that is brought to life by ritual incantations and sequences of Hebrew letters.
