I woke today feeling something funny.
It was the nose of a baby bunny.
When I stood up I felt mud in my toes.
Looking down I saw ribbons tied in bows,
Sailing boats around a magical lake.
Although it's summer I saw some snowflakes.
I ran out of the room. What a mistake!
Elephants and donkeys started to sing.
I started to like every single thing.
I began to smile. "Welcome home," I said.
That spoken word flew me back into bed.
All alone once more, I thought with a grin,
I hope this happens again and again.
