Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
I thought it was Spring

Is It Spring Yet?

It's Spring upon this lovely mountain top.
A rugged land that's filled with life anew.
The robins have returned, and wrens begin
to build their nests beneath bright skies of blue.

New sprouts of grass grow green along my path --
while craggy rocks are wet with morning dew.
Soft breezes blow and stir last year's debris--
as giant clouds of white sail into view.

The daffodils burst forth as tiny buds
of hyacinths and tulips start their show.
A hopeful time of year when heaven shares
the splendor we were promised long ago.


 



Recognized


I thought it was time for Spring and I woke up this morning to 3 inches of snow on the ground.

I decided that even if it didn't look like Spring outside, I would pretend it was Spring. (smile).
