Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Widow of a man sorts his things

She Never Knew Him

by Pamusart

I knew a man who lived his life
Was always faithful to his wife
He went to work, his main concern
Was for the riches he could earn

She never knew him while he lived
Although she really thought she did
She searched his things to find a clue
Of who he was and who he knew

She cried the tears of bitter sadness
For time they lost amid the madness
He left her rich beyond her dreams
He left her nothing else, it seems

Recognized

Do we really know our lifelong partners? Are they hiding something? Another life? Or nothing at all?
