This work has reached the exceptional level
Let only your inner voice define you!

Borderlines

If wishes were on fire, or deep as ocean's blue,
I would have light and heat and briny seas to give to you.

I see within your eager eyes the jubilance of youth,
how to defy mortality to offer you the truth?

Oh Maxwell, little wonder boy who graces me with art,
be brave and bold my little man and listen to your heart.

Many will want to reign you in, to speak of bolder lines;
demand you keep your colors in~believe in your designs!

Crash boldly in primary blue, slash through their gates in yellow,
cherish your vision passionate, there's time enough for mellow.

Defy all odds, do not bow down to other's thickened border,
They may be printers, but not God--their lines aren't brick and mortar!

The world's chock full of proper men who dare not break the rules;
your spirit sings of finer things you will not learn in schools!
