My feeling about how things are and should be

I'm Over Here

by tony bronk

I'm normally happy
until I hear
unerther war started ... over there.
I'm a thankful guy
till I see
cold cold hungry kittens cry ... some died ... over there.
I always do my best to be content
then, unrest around the corner
brings "sadness" cross my face.
It ain't easy being alive
not, if you wish you were dead;
many war vets do.
I want to be happy
but not only for me ... this time
but for the dying .. sick crowd.
Will the showering of my happiness
spent upon their ill,
tired people's shoulders
really rehabilitate them? I believe so!
How many deaths will there be
before, we believe in miracles:
twelve billion and three?
I must be moving on-
over to my unsteady places ... in short, slow paces.
