Who wants to cook & clean when there's the Cuisine Scene?

Eating Out is In By Me

Indeed, eating out is very nice,
It spares me of dirty dishes
Assuming that I can pay the price
For the beef, the pork or fishes.
 
Sure, I’m game for any cuisine;
Italian, Tex-Mex, or...? Can’t wait!
Kosher dogs, chips and pickles? Keen!
Wait. French? Not much food-on-plate..
 
Though I like Asian fare, those menus
Are like books - long with small print.
I must concentrate in those venues -
Just to read them, I must squint.
 
In rare nights, with her go I,
She of kale and “soup de jour”.
I order pastrami on rye;
“Soup and salad” makes me snore…
 
O.K., so I admit, I most often go
To an Americanized Irish Pub;
With burgers, ribs - stuff I know
Not healthy, but I love that grub!
 
A man will not live forever, true,
So, I say enjoy life whilst here.
Want it? Eat it! You owe that to you,.
Bon Appetit! And, let’s have beer!
