A different day and a different time.

Two Short Rings and One Long

If you have used one of these
you are probably three-fourths
of a century old or older,
I have used one of these
two short rings and one long
all others on the line could
eavesdrop on your conversations
so you were always careful
with what you had to say,
that was a much different day.
