Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
the dandelions remind me of Brooke

What a Beautiful Day

by l.raven

sitting here
as I gaze out the window 
my mind rendered silent
   amazed by God's creations

 I close my eyes
but only for a moment,
so not to lose
the beauty of the day

the elegant
 bouquet of flowers
reaching to the heavens
only wanting to please
 and the sweet scent
of Spring in the air

I listen to the birds 
singing in the trees
  opera of the day
 as rays from the sun
    light up the stage  
 a warm breeze touches my face 
I am content

 and a smile forms
words whispered
"thank you God"
