Who will our next president be?

Who's Next

by prettybluebirds

I voted not to vote. I mean, who was there to vote for? We had the choice of an overgrown child who threw temper tantrums or a person known for her shady dealings and sloppy handling of government e-mails. I neither like or respect either one, so I chose not to vote. Would my vote have made any difference anyway?

Now, look at the turmoil our government is in. Would things have been better if Hilliary had won the election? I think not. Quieter maybe, but not better. While Donald blusters, insults, and threatens, Hilliary would have quietly continued her crooked ways out of the public eye. She would have smiled sweetly while undermining the people as usual. It would have been like another Obama presidency. I suppose I have no right to complain because I didn't vote, but geez, it seems there must be a decent candidate out there somewhere.

Now, some say Oprah might run for president in 2020. Well, who knows? At least Oprah is a much loved and admired individual. She has no experience as a politician but I bet she could learn fast. It couldn't get any worse than it already is, could it?
