An Emotion Poem

Start with Oneself

Happiness

It smells like a wall of honeysuckle growing ever thicker

It tastes like the nectar of Olympian gods

It sounds like the twinkling tunes of a thousand flutes

It feels like sunshine spreading its way into every dark place

It looks like shared smiles and beaming faces

Happiness is something that must start in oneself
