Lanturne Poetry contest entry

Recognized

The challenge is to write a Lanturne. A Lanturne poem is a five line poem. The syllable count is one, two, three, four, one. So the first line has one syllable, the second line has two, the third line has three syllables, fourth has four, and the final line has one. This type of poetry is usually centered to result in a poem that looks like a lantern which is where the name of this poem is derived.

Thank you to Snapdragon for the powerful rendering of "Thwarted."
