Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
For my friend who passed away today 12/1/2018

Russell

We have lost our friend today
Had cancer and has passed away.
His diagnosis made us sad,
A few short months were all he had.

I saw him last at Christmas time,
I knew then he'd begun the climb.
A party with his friends around
Our hope and prayers for him abound.

But when we said our last goodbyes
He hugged me tight; with teary eyes.
We both knew that would be the end
I said "I love you my dear friend".

My husband drove; no words were said
In both our eyes our tears were shed.
In silent thoughts of times gone past,
And knowing this would be his last.

But Russell, there is one last ride
You'll take; before the other side.
And then our friend, your spirit's free
But in our hearts you'll always be.

We have lost a dear friend today, He passed away following a short few months from Cancer He was a great bloke and rode a Harley as do most of his riding friends. We have had many good rides and times with Russell and his wife and we will miss him very much

So with tears in my eyes and a heavy heart this is my tribute to my friend Russell.
