The World Around Us

I Believe In Thee

I do believe,
Have faith in Thee.

The babbling brook
Reflects my face,
The winter wind
Tousles my hair.

I do believe,
Have faith in Thee.

The burning sun,
The cotton clouds,
Make me dream
Of You, sweet friend.

I do believe,
Have faith in Thee.

Those snow flakes,
Caught on the trees
I want to touch
With longing hands.

I do believe,
Have faith in Thee.

I sit on the grass,
Look at the sky.
A twinkly star
Smiles at me.

I do believe
Have faith in Thee.

The best of worlds
You gave me.
My dear friend,
I have faith in Thee.
