yesterday's election
Maybe?
by Mike Stevens
Yesterday, sanity returned to politics, maybe. Pedophile and The Lone Fondler, Roy Moore, who actually thought it would be fun to show up to vote riding a horse, and left riding a rail, was narrowly defeated for senator by Doug Jones. I'd like to think the minorities, who showed up in droves, finally woke up to the clear and present danger Trump and his court pose to them, I desperately hope that, but it probably is a combination of that, and the fact that Roy Moore was a pathetic candidate who caused cavemen-sympathetic white men voters to stay away from the polls. So, I desperately hope this represents a sea change, but it also could just be a ripple. Oh well, Rome wasn't built in a day, but then, it went up in a conflagration in what seemed like a day, so it'll take awhile to rebuilt
