What is Gods plan

Death is Cruel

by Dolly'sPoems

When death expediently kills our dreams,
Leaves nothing but a sadness in our heart.
A darkness falls where light will never beam,
And nights of grief-filled tears are just the start.

The silence will pretend to be gone soon,
And friends will call to cheer with their sweet smile.
Our eyes gaze up to see a bright new moon,
Hoping to see a glimpse of their profile.

Yet years may pass and still we'll never know,
Why death can be so final and so cruel.
Sunsets can please the eye and give a glow,
The moon continues rising up its jewel.

When will we know the meaning of God's plan?
When death destroys the spirit of a man.
