Bigfoot and The Flower Poet

by mermaids

her petals emit
the holiday spirit
gathering many
fairies, mermaids
unicorns, giant apes

Bigfoot sees her
he admires beauty
as snow falls
reindeer fly

the large primate
feels joy as he
sings softly
to the flower
of hope

she sings back
with her tunes
of red, green
white and blue

the flower poet
and the icon of
the North
share Christmas
