May I Do My Best For Him

by patcelaw

My days have been a few
and plagued by trouble
but God in His wisdom
didn't put me in a bubble.

He knew the trials
that I had to pass through
would bless me one day
as He made my life anew.

In life there has been pain
I've not had much treasure
but with every trial I'd see
He's blessed me without measure.

Now that I am getting old
losing my hearing and my sight
I look to the day I'll be with Him
my hope, have I done things right.

So with each new trial and test
may I to do my very best,
FOR HIM!

The photo is of me, as I was three years ago before Christmas. The necklace I am wearing is made of potatoes and beads. I made many of these necklaces and sold them at a crafts market. Had some go as far away as Germany.
