I went shopping yesterday and in the supermarket were these two women in front of me and one could not help but look at their very large bottoms in shorts. They were not a good look and I wondered if they could see themselves from the back view If they would be surprised at how bad they looked.
I do not wish to offend any larger ladies, but these two were not suitably dressed for their size.
My husband was waiting in the car and when I asked him if he saw these ladies his reply
"The ones with the big arses in shorts." I told him to tell me if I ever looked like that he was to tell me. He reassured me he would. We both had a laugh
I have taken liberty to write a poem about this using my poetic licence for a few verses and I hope it will be read in a lighted hearted way in which it was written.
Lookin' and walkin' are deliberately spelt without ending ing. This is often how Australians speak
Arse: is the word commonly use in Australia for buttocks and also rhymes with Glass pronounced 'Glarse. not glass as in ass.( An ass in Australia is a donkey )
Gawked is a term used also in Australia and means to stare at something or someone .
