Sing Praises Forevermore

Walking in a valley, filled with sin
I had no peace or blest rest
it was then I met Jesus, the one
who promised to give me the best.

As He came to me, He changed me
giving me peace and sweet rest
now in my closing years, I know
I've truly been given His best.

One day coming, maybe soon
I'll meet Him on Heaven's shore
there to live with Him, for all eternity
I'll sing praises, forevermore.

Recognized


As I nearing my 80th birthday, I spend a lot more time thinking about what Heaven will be like. I am in no hurry to go, but am ready. I still feel God has some things He wants me to do and I pray He will show me those things and give me the strength to do them.
