"From here to there -- twenty-eight paces. I know it too well. I've done it all day. Twice.", sighed the young man.
"...seventy-eight down to the men's room and sixteen over to the window to look out onto the same ugly rooftop. Been here. Done that. My second trip for a second test. Why couldn't the first one have been a pass? Why need be a second?' he moaned, "what did I do wrong?"
When a waiting room door opens, all inside look, all brace, all anticipate both the best and the worst simultaneously...
"Your daughter does not have Multiple Sclerosis..."

Writing Prompt
Take flash fiction to the extreme. Can you tell a complete story in just 100 words. If so, this is your opportunity to shine. The story can be about any subject you wish, creative approaches are of course encouraged. All stories must have the following: Main Character, Setting, Conflict, Resolution.
