A Long-Overdue Thank You
You are always at hand,
doing my bidding, 
working tirelessly,
reading my mind,
never questioning.
You are indispensable. 

(Your willing twin
who helps you when needed,
is not nearly as useful,
predictably inept -
so I avoid calling on him
for a delicate chore.)

Each thankless task you do
invariably goes unrewarded.
I never have given you praise,
yet you don’t seem to care.
I hereby make my amends.
