A Horse Tale

by Wetbelly01

This is a tale about Outlaw Jim.
Back when the James Boys and Youngers were doing their thing,
he was out and about doing his.

Now a lot of things that were blamed on the James Gang,
are not altogether true.
Some of that stuff was actually done by you know who.

You won't find him in any history pages, unless you dig really deep.
He got busted after stealing a horse and leaving it at a House of ILL Repute.

Now while ol' Jim was indulging in the "female service,"
his horse outside was smelling something fine.
As it turned out, two horses down along the hitching rail was a filly that was prime.

Now when Outlaw Jim decided he wasn't paying and robbed the place instead.
When trying to escape, to his demise, his horse was doing "Nature's Course!"

And so his headstone reads as follows: "Here lies Outlaw Jim a bad man.
He had us outrun by three steps.
But his horse was four strokes behind!!"

The Moral of my tale is simply this; If you're going to steal a horse, take the time to check it's gender !!
