F Football season is here, but for me, the watching is considerably better this year.  
O Often I had wished it this way (while I’m watching the game, it’s uncommonly quiet here). 
O Only serendipity sent me this - wife with in-laws abroad, (for which I never hoped);  
T Thank goodness for her sabbatical, the baby’s too young for school, and the elder eloped. 
B Baseball and basketball are watchable with distractions, but not so with football for me.  
A Autumn means football, and, as I’m sure you can see, I welcome it enthusiastically   
L Love my wife, love my girls, and I’ll be happy when they return, even more than their going, 
L Love their laughing and chattering; those girls make home feel like home, even without their knowing.
