An inspiration

My insomniac muse

MY INSOMNIAC MUSE

I have a muse that never sleeps
around my keyboard it slowly creeps
feeling with my typing finger
On those words that'll always linger

A sleeping muse will gather moss
It's just my mind's never at a loss
Forever lurking forever thinking
Never shirking or never sinking

Into the depths of idle thought
For they never, add up to naught
A sleeping muse is just not me
I just love rhyming poetry

I wrote this after a comment from fellow poet, My Poetic Friend. I think she asked me something like does my muse ever sleep and I thought about her question and realized, no, my muse never sleeps lol
