teardrops on a marble stand

by Walter L. Jones

have followed lifetime in a little hole they call Vietnam I'm pleased for lots of people as we lay their life now the Silence of the Lambs the crying on the crawl I just want to go home in the Shadow level membrane and I do not know Falls and hippies a crying praying for the broken soul and I don't know why were dying for some place to lay our heads and I Cry at the wall of the day so sorry our words we don't know now and a place they about us send friend wise I wonder why I'm crying as the days go passing by my best friendall Suite in a place I do not know as I watch the Earth from the bottom of my soul stand up for what you believe but please don't die here and my body so don't you go telling me that you understand and don't you go and Mark those dead as patriotic or they left their lives for Glory
