Do You Ever Think of Me?

by Thomas Bowling

Do You Ever Think of Me?

Sometimes I think about a girl I once knew
In years gone past we had some fun, we two
I still don't know how it all came undone
The thought of you often makes me blue
I think of you
Do you ever think of me?

Beneath a tree we shared our first kiss
And you're the only one that I still miss
I think of you
Do you ever think of me?

Chorus:

I guess that I was just too blind to see
The kind of future that could have been you and me
I loved you then
And darlin' I still do
And I wonder do you ever think of me?

The years flew by
Now you're with some other guy
Another girl has come into my life
You've got a husband, I've got a wife
We'll be faithful to them all our life
But I still wonder
Do you ever think of me?

Chorus:

I guess that I was just too blind to see
The kind of future that could have been you and me
I loved you then
And darlin' I still do
And I wonder do you ever think of me?

At night I wonder
Do you ever think of me?
