A poem that begins and ends with the same word

Sometimes

by Ogden

(See note)

Sometimes, when I’m gathering wool, I find I can fly;
I simply swim, and soar through the sky.
I’m young once more, fearless and free,
enjoying the flight in my fantasy.

There is nothing I can’t do, and I do as I please.
When real life precludes woolgathering - or other thoughts without reason or rhymes,
I nevertheless fly…sometimes.
